A FICTIONAL THRILLER SHORT FILM SET IN NEBRASKA
UNDERLYING FEAR
SYNOPSIS
"Underlying Fear" plays with the idea of who you can trust. By outlining the tough reality of seeking help from strangers, it makes us question why we are so hesitant of helping those different from us?

The film takes place in a rural town in Nebraska in the early 2000's. Most of our cast and crew are from different parts of Nebraska which we take pride in. This project is funded, in part, with the support of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Hixson Lied College of Fine & Performing Arts' Endowment Fund.
We're looking forward to telling a thrilling and exciting story that with surprise and shock viewers all over.

Adam Turner (Director)
is a filmmaker from Omaha, Nebraska. Since high school, he's been making youtube videos, short films and music videos and has always focused on writing, directing and working well with others. His recent work has been screened at the Omaha Film Festival as well as other festivals in the midwest area. He's majoring in Film & New Media at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Johnny Carson School of Theatre & Film with an emphasis in directing.
It takes a lot to people to make a film. We look forward to working with our colleagues on this project who come from all parts of Nebraska.
Jon Bass (Producer)
Born and raised in Omaha, NE, Jon was always a collaborator and a creative individual. From short films to documentaries and to broadcast. Jon has had a well-versed education in the art of storytelling. He's majoring in Film & New Media at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Johnny Carson School of Theatre & Film with an emphasis in cinematography.
